Don't laugh but what exactly are ventillated seats. If I'm getting this right, they are the ones with tiny holes in them to keep your rear cool.

Actually, the REAL reason is so that if someone does have gas issues, the sound will be severely muted because it won't have to push up against a non-ventilated seat. Therefore, you will not have the added bonus of the sound-effect. IMHO why pay more for something that doesn't actually add value...
