Does your steering wheel move up when you exit car?

I bet you're pushing the Start/Stop button once and then getting out and locking the car. If you push stop to turn the engine off, then take your foot off the brake, and then push stop again, it will turn all electronics off and will then allow the steering wheel to raise up.

If it still doesn't raise up, then you either have the wheel set at its maximum height or you have a problem with your steering wheel.

Or simply press and hold the start/stop button for a few seconds. All the electronics turn off without that complex sequence.

Mine has always worked fine.

I am pressing the start button twice to turn off electrics but it never raises up. I tried the up/down reset trick while driving this afternoon. It didn't fix it though.
