My car gets lots of looks because of the kit and the 172s. I see alot of E60s in Sacramento every day, but rarely a modded one. Wheels are the only mods I see.
There is a guy that works at the gas station I go to regularly and he always has a question or two about my car. Today he asked where and how often I get it waxed!

I get alot of attention, being that im from the HONDA/ACURA infested central NJ. Only annoying part is that most of these HONDA drivers believe that their cars are superior to the e60 smh. :thumbsdown:

+1...When I had my F250, I would get way more attention than my e60. It was a beautiful truck and had all the bells and whistles. If It didn't cost me $320 a month in deisel, I would have still owned it. I miss that truck! Can't wait to get another in a couple of years, if I can afford it.

I had my '08 550i for about a week. I was running some errands, went from the gas station, across the lot to the dry cleaners. An attractive younger woman came in and asked, "Is that blue BMW yours?" 
I replied,"Yes. Yes it is." I was very proud of myself.
She said, "you left your gas tank lid open," and walked out. True story.
Shot down in my blaze of glory. No. Not much notice being made in the Seattle area--no one really mods too much here, and I am slow to get on the bandwagon, but it's coming.
