Does Steering Wheel retract when you turn off car?

Mine adjusted the first couple times and hasn't moved since then (delivered 11/22/04). I have been told this will be a minor adjustment when I bring the car in for first service.

Mine worked when I got the car. Several months later it stopped working. One of the software updates cured it (but I don't remember which one - 13.2 possibly).
