Does the radio work when the car is off?

I have NAV and I can't use the radio when ignition is turned off.

Before we had buss nav cause prof was'ent avaible yet.
But we got installed cause we payed for it.
On bussiness its possible to turn radio on whitout key
On professional it is'ent possible to turn radio on whitout key

You can also access the different options by moving your I drive mouse (at least on mine)...

Oh intersting.. why so many missing stuff with NAV? Radio when car is off, no RDS, what else?

Because nav cars run on an entirely different computer sub-system...

On my old E60 i could play the radio without the key in the ignition on my new E60 i can't.

Maybe it depends on what version I-drive you've got.
