2 out of 10 times?

Some people just say 1 in 5.

But 8 out of 10 people might say 4 out of 5 if the math wasn't so darn complicated

iDrive menu = Door Locks -> Central locking -> Select "Relock door if not opened" / The central locking system automatically locks the vehicle after a short time when no door has been opened.

You guys don't know about this?

This only happens, if the car is already locked, then the car gets unlocked, but no door is opened after unlocking. Then after a set period of time the car will 'Re-lock' itself.

This is not what the OP was hoping the car would do. He was hoping that if he forgot to lock the car after pulling up, that the car would then auto lock itself. Which as Iceman says quite correctly, is not possible.

I've had no experience with comfort access, but the name might be a give away

BMW NA website does not mention anything about locking on exit with the comfort access Here . Maybe someone with comfort access could shed some more light on this subject.
