How much better will or does the M5 handle compared to a regular sports equipped e60. What accounts for the difference?

Would a set of coilovers or some springs/shocks put them on the same level, or is something still missing?

Coilovers would help, but in the end, it will never be like an M5... it may come closer though... the M5 has quite a different setup... if you look at pics online of a parked M5 next to a parked e60 with the M-Sport package, you'll notice that the M-Sport looks like it sits lower and the M5. But all that changes when you hit THE button in the M5. It calibrates to a go-kart level and juices in an extra 100hp, not to mention the changes made to the SMG tranny.
