Does the E60 have a feature that automatically turns off the lights if they are left on after the car is turned off and it is not on the automatic head lights?

because my 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan LE does

Yes it does!

And when the battery is low it even shuts off almost everything.
The power management in the 5series is extremely smart!

ok good

Cuz i was about to say.... an american car that is 8 years older has a "automatic light turning off after a while when ignition is off" feature then so should a german car that is brand new

Yes they do...set your light switch to "Auto" and it will do wonder.

yea but someimes during the day i drive with the parking lights on because it looks cool (the angel eyes) and then i forget to turn it off. Good thing it beeps are you if u forget, but i was just wondering...just in case
