Does anyone demand their ride NOT be washed when left for service?

My Ride: 2015 435xi GC
The first time I went to "my" dealership, they kindly sent me off with a loaner... When I went to pick up my car, my SA told me "It'll just be a few more minutes, they're finishing up your complimentary exterior wash" (as if they were providing a huge favor/service). I shrugged it off, and luckily didn't notice any damage as a consequence (swirls, scratches, etc..) but every subsequent visit, I've asked them not to.
