hi guys

I have posted this b4, and really didn't get any positive responses, so here we go again. The air bag and pre-tensioner lights came on in my dash, the guy at the garage plugged his Snap-On tool (red thing) and cleared the fault, but since then it has come once again and it had to be cleared again.

The Snap-On tool says it an Undocumented Code, 39679......any one have any clue what this may mean?

passenger or driver's airbag? There is a known issue with the passenger's airbag sensor, mine is at the dealer now getting taken care of (it's a known issue so they fix it free whether you're under warranty or not). Good luck

Don't double post!

You already asked the question here

The reason you didn't get any positive responses is because you took your car to some idiot that told you to "find out" what the code was.

dentity looked up the codes and it was not a BMW code.

2exclusive told you to take it elsewhere to to get a valid read.

Its a known Control Module fault. You most likely have a fault in the Safety and Gateway Module (SGM) (I don't know what charges are like in the States so cannot give you a heads up on the likely cost of replacement).

I had the same light come on for the passenger side. The dealer said it was the battery disconnect and they replaced it for free. I am out of warranty so i guess this is a recalled item. My car has not been wrecked.
