Do I have this compartment???

Looking at these pictures I can see that I don't have this small compartment right below the CD/DVD slots ( picture one). I'm just wondering if I remove the wood trim, will this compartment be behind it like in picture two ???

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV

I doubt you do, since it appears you have navigation - the CCC unit takes up the whole space in that area. Possibly if you ditch the navigation you can get the little cubby you want.

yup, only comes on cars without nav.
