A question I can't seem to find an answer to is the following: I have a car with a Premium Sound Package installed which means it has the blove-box mounted 6-disc changer. If I have an iPod cable installed, does it mean that I give up the CD-changer?

Please help as I would love to use the iPod functionality but don't want to give up the CD option.

Breviblock:

when I almost purchased a 2006 with premium sound, the CA told me that I could EITHER use the CD Changer OR the ipod, not both simultaneously.

If you buy an aftermarket like the Dension you can have both.

Really, my impression was that the Dension did the same thing - used the CD input cable for the iPod input. Therefore one or the other....
