So, check the tails, and make sure the software for the tran is up to date. Man, I couldn't stop thinking about it last night. The only thing it doesn't have is the rear entertainment which is fine with me since I don't have kids yet. I has everything else I wanted when I got my 550. I took the 550 cause of the V8 and it was my first BMW. So now I mind as well have the features I want. Damn, those sport seat are awesome!!

I have an 07 550 like yours and the funny thing is the X5 4.8 is my perfect "other/replacement" vehicle. I think they are SUPER cool looking, especially the white one that was posted in the thread (although I prefer grey or black). Anyway, I don't want to leave my 550 for a while but this is the car that I am always looking at in cars.com. Funny how yet another 550 owner is looking at the same car I am, if I were to replace the 550.

I was in an X5 the other day when I was checking out a members car he was purchasing in brooklyn from Maryland. I was impressed, it drove nice, handled nice, and felt sporty too as well as "truck-ish" if that makes sense..lol.. and the one i was in was the smaller engine in the diesel! It even had some pick up, lol..

The deal worked out and I now have an E70. Grey loaded 4.8i. Will post pics tomorrow after I give it a personal wash.
