Do Comfort Seats really make RFTs more tolerable?

Personally I believe the new generation of RFT:s are up for the job, but I think they started to sell them too soon - now "everybody" has something negative to say about them...
I have 1 gen RFT on my E91 and I didn't like it at all, so I was surprised to find... or rather, to feel how different the E61 felt with the new RFT:s. (The harsh ride on the E61 535d i tested 2005 was still fresh in my mind.)

On this one I'm not going to take other's 'seriously' and 'take my word for this one...' and so on as 'facts' I've lived with four pairs of RFTs (including winters) on my latest e61 and they all worked perfectly! The last ten years I've own over ten premium european cars, so I'm not a novice. Next week I'm going to order a new 5er, I'm not hesitating on RFTs this time either. It's mainly the Brittish press complaining about RFTs, we all know how source sensitive they are....
