My Ride: Current - 330 Sport Topaz Blue, Grey Leather, HK HIFI...lost interest!!
Waiting for - 535d Sport, Silver Grey, Foldy Mirrors, 172 19",Logic7,Pro Radio,Through load,Heated Front Seats,High Gloss shadowline,Black Maple,Headlight wash,Sun Protection Glass.
Was talking with a colleague about remapping, I said that i fully intended to get a remap, but was waiting for feedback from the forum, from people who had DMS and had gone thro a service.
I would like to know if it remained undetected...

It is NOT stealth!
If they want to, they see it, but if they're not looking for it, they don't!
They don't care as long as there are no problems with the engine. But if you experience engine problems, they'll ceck if there is a remap done.

Have to agree with you, there is no way that BMW would be unable to detect whether someone had reprogrammed one of their cars. I would think they should be able to find out anything they wish about your vehicle.

BMW can see EVERYTHING! How you drive, what you use, how often and long you use the different equipment in your car... everything...

i received a callnot too long ago about DINAN releaseing there 530i and more 545i CAI, and software, he stated nothing to be about the 525i. When i asked about the 525i my DINAN SA told me that only after the 530i and more advanced 545i pieces would they be considering to release the 525i upgrades. SO for the 525i i would think sometime next year..

They don't need the car for that, they have your info on their computer system.
