Erm, actually the CD changer takes up no space in the glove compartment at all.
Erm, apparently it does:
CD CHANGER/BRACKET

Was it located in the trunk on previous models ?

Yes it was.

I think they should have an in-dash CD changer like everyone else.

I would forego the keyless entry, although it becomes quite usefull when you are carring things. I should have got the logic 7 :'( , man I miss that in my X5.
Depends you want your BMW more sportier or more Luxurious?
ACC: may help in passing the cars on highway watching the shoulder/blindspot( VolvoS80 BLIS)
Comfort Access: helps in winter, shopping and may avoid dropping /loosing keys near water manholes(lids of water/sewer)
All packages(premium, cold, sport)are good depending on your needs
Think and discuss before placing an order/buying
What do you need more or what you can delete in your present car(features/optionwise)?

Talking

Interesting question, though. As I just ordered a new E61 my problem was more finding the money to pay for all the goodies I ticked !

So, baring in mind I haven't got the car my answer would be that I would .....buy another car instead! I couldn't live with the fact I didn't get the beemer I wanted, and probably go for my wife's Laguna with automatic gearbox instead.

Make sense?

From the World Bank figures you just have to decide how to spend your earnings.

That's an easy one. The 6 CD changer. I don't even own a CD. AM is perfect, as I switch between sports radio and news radio.

Most of us put a lot of thought into the options we choose as God knows they cost enough, however nothing beats real life experience to give you a dose of the regrets. If you had to ditch one option from your e60 which would it be?
Rear power sunshade. Only because the rear shelf makes noise that I suspect would be absent if it didn't have the shade. The HUD is great, but it should offer more info, i.e. rpms or temporary audio info. when changing a song if possible. Anything to keep eyes on/very nearly on the road.
