Has anyone heard anything positive about the air intake combined with the exhaust from Dinan for a 550I?

Congratulations on the stage 2!!! Being naturally aspirated we don't touch that high boost stuff... but i hear that I can start a good addiction with a new F10 550I...

 

If your talking e60 550 then there is an increase in performance but in the realm of 15 hp. The stock engine is very efficient. With the F10 550 you will see the same percentage gains as with the 535, in the area of another 100 hp.

 

There are more than just horse power gain. Do a search and you'll find this topic has been beaten to death.

Dan @ Thompson was the guy I worked with. I was in and out with a brake fluid change and other maintenance in 2 hours. I was very satisfied with the quick turnover since I called them at Noon the same day and was home by 4:30. All you 550i guys better look out, this car is seriously quick. I can't wait to pull up to one at a stop light. The 20% off is good until the 30th of April. Where else can you get warranted 100 HP for under $1800. This is one of the best all around motors BMW has ever made. HPFP problem is solved with the new 120K 8year warranty too. I am seriously thinking of keeping this car once the lease is up, it's that much fun now.

 

The car felt too jerky with both SB and Dinan software upgrade. PM me with more questions, I don't want to hijack this thread.
