With the dinan you should be good, I'm also thinking about doing the same on my 08 550 sport dinan stage1.

 

just installed the Sprint Booster on my car last night.....ummm.....wow.

definitely a big difference in throttle response.

 

the sprint booster will fool the car into thinking you are pushing the peddle down faster and deeper than you are. The Dinan is a performance upgrade with "sprint booster" throttle response. At full throttle, the sprint booster is no different than no sprint booster.

 

My E39 (528) had the dinan stage 1 (software upgrade and exhaust). I personally didn't feel much of a difference but then again that was on a 6 cylinder so I'm not sure if the gain is different for a 8 cylinder.

 

Had dinan stage 1 done to my 550. Throttle response is much improved.

 

What does cost approximately. Is it more noticeable or a better upgrade if you don't have the SAT?

 

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but looking at the Dinan website they have stage 1,2,and 3.. Anyone know the real difference.. The price between seems not to be much higher..
