what do you think ? did BMW dealer clean your filter every time you go for oil change service ?

Looks that your airfilter holder has been used as a trashcan at the factory.
Complain about this to your dealer and send the pic to BMW AG!

Ric, he has nothing to complain about. That's simply road debris, and the filter box doing what it's supposed to do. Probably half of us who took out the (US only) secondary air filter found nearly as much crap in our filter boxes. It's road debris, nothing more.

Maybe I'll find a small Nissan or a cat or some other road debris
we have flying around overhere.

I had a bunch of leaves and a little bit of polystyrene. Looks like I missed out on the dog cookies.
