Congratulations on the order. I am just wondering whether you didn't forget the space saver wheel in your options list. Or are those winter tires runflats?

One thing... Wouldn't it be more fun to have a different set of winter rims? On my last 530d I had 17" Style 116 as winter and 17" 122 as summer, it's fun to change the look of the car once in a while.

Thank's guys for the warm encouragements!

To MacSid,

I suppose the wait will not be that hard since I have a close to perfect E60 already.
Actually I'm driving free km's now, since the deal is already made.

To bardel,

My new car is a "GB SE-model" and it will have chrome lists around the windows. I like them.

The config pics are not that good.

To E60BEEMER,

Ex and current 525iA:s with the 2,5 l M54 engine. CO2’s around 250 g/km.
See my sign.

To fox72,

Both the summer tires (from the factory) and the Nokian RSi winter tires will be RF.

But the dealer will give me also a trunk compressor and a tires repair “stuff” as an courtesy,
after hard bargaining.

To ipp,

The summer wheels are included in a very Finnish "Business-package".
Also the Xenons, PDC, A/C with extended feartures and the cruise control are included in the package.
It's a 4.340 Euro giveaway. Remember our 100% car tax!

I will try to sell the Style 244 factory new set and buy a 18” tire/wheel package for the summer.
At this point I fancy the Style 247 rims with 245/40 F and 275/35 R (RF) tires.

The BIG THING about new the 520dA is its very low consumption and emissions!

EU average only 5,6 l /100 km and very low CO2’s at 149 g / km.

Kind regards,
Eco Ricracing

Congrats! That is a lot of torque for a 2L engine! (advantage of a diesel engine)

Congrats RR

I was recently at a local dealership and they had an E60 with the anthracite cloth-leather combo and I was mighty impressed. Its a big improvement over the pre-LCI materials IMHO and suites the car well -- especially at a fraction of the price of full leather!

The 247s would look great with the Space Grey, in same way that the M167s do. At the very least it gives you plenty more configuring to keep you occupied...

xBMWx,

I've got full leather now, but I don't like it.

Nice to hear about the Reflex combo.

I just would love the 166's or 167's but our roads are
like s*'t and 225's is about max for nice non tramlineing driving.
The new car will come with the normal suspension.

As you knew, my configs needed a big creativity
to get the chrome grills for a 520d

Had to use bmw.de - for some reason BMW Nordic didn't work?
