diableing DRL , quick question

My Ride: 05" 545i 6 speed
whats up guys, Went to the service department today , and they want to charge me 125 plus tax to disable DRL. I ordered the AngeliBright white lights with PIAA 4100K fogs, Trying to get that "mean look" also got a black grill. I was thinking if i upgrade my progman to the current version which is 28.0 i believe, will the option on my idrive come up to disable the lights, as i know the newer version come with. thanks

no the progman won't do it you will need a dealer to turn DRL off/on :thumbsdown:

Even with the Ibright, it ll look good on DRL. Does ur DRL include the Xenon light, or just the rings. Coz u can tell ur dealer to just adjust it and only rings will apply during daytime and the Xenon will light up durring night.
