Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! If you turn once to the right on the knob that controls headlights, it turns on the rings as well as the light ( not the xenon one, but the one next to it. the smaller one) so i just wanted to turn that off, so that the rings just are on, not the headlight. Is that possible? I think it was my mistake for calling it daytime running lights initially, because thats not what they are, correct?

I have a friend of mine who used to be a shop foreman at the bmw dealer for over 5 years and hes got all the the software required for your conversion at much less than the dealer price. PM me and ill give you all his info if u interested
