Dent on the hood

Because the hood is aluminum I don't think you'll be able to fix it with a dent removal kit.

I wouldnt use the dry ice method if its the same one i am thinking of where you use a hairdryer to heat the panel then rapidly cool it to pop it out, heating the metal can weaken the metal.

I had a dent in mine when i bought it, I tried using the glue stick approach but it didnt seem to do much. In my frustration \ last ditch effort i tried to push it out from under the bonnet (hood), i used my fist in a hammer action aiming for where the dent was. It actually worked, I cant see the dent anymore. I basically pushed the dent from underneath to observe the metal moving, i did this till i knew where to strike it took about 3 hits but it worked a treat.

In short go visit a PDR guy if you are not sure.
