Has anyone on these forums used the Dension GENtool (gateway enabler tool) to enable the Dension 500 + BTA1500 (dension bluetooth adapter for the gateway 500).

that pricing, added to the fact it is locked to one vehicle, makes a trip to the dealer for coding seem cheap!

 

Oh I wouldn't buy it from there you can get the same thing for way less elsewhere. Just a link that says it apparently enables bluetooth also.
Having a hard time believing that a small dongle like that can program bluetooth in a car that never had it.
If it's just a matter of toggling it on then yes but that's what I'm not 100% on.

 

or you could take some time on BMWcoding.com and learn something, and do it yourself

 

1.5 tonne paper brick doesn't sound that good to me.
