I ordered a 535 D in France the first week of January.

It was supposed to be produced on the week 4 (last week of January).
The car was supposed to arrive in France on Week 6.

Having in France no tracking system as in the US, I came to the dealership last Friday to deliver some documents and also to enquire about the status of the car.

The car was only in 150 status (prduction started) but the delivery was postponed to last week of February (8).

My salesman phoned me today: the car is now in 152 (painting) status but he told me that BMW closed unexpectedly in Dingolfing for some days (carnival ?).

Am I the only one in this situation?

Hi,

rumors say BMW has some probs with the (Bosch-) diesel pumps and they stopped production to search a solution.

You are right. There is an artikel about but I am not able to translate it in details.

Yep, until Wednesday. All cars that allready have the pumps will get a recall notice.
Problem is the life span of the pump is not as good as it should be, so there is no malfunction.
