Hello All,

Can someone tell me when is it time to get the Inspection II done? Is it at 60K miles? And how much should this cost? By doing a search online, I've seen varying prices.

 

I went to my dealer on 60K miles and he said there is nothing called inspection II in the E60 models and it is old terminology. Inspection and work are just done when suggested by the i-drive.

Sorry didn't mean to add a different topic to someone else's thread but I would like to find out if has anyone ever experienced problem with their Idrive maintenance alert. I changed my oil several weeks ago and reset it back to 15000 miles. I have driven more than 500 miles yet the engine oil alert remains at 15000 miles. I assume it should start the count down once it is reset.

Go to your SA, your record will be mirrored in their computers so they can check if your service date is past due, even if your iDrive doesn't show that.
