just signed up
watched this forum for some time now and very good
i am in nw corner of Ireland

i have a new 535d waiting until 1st jan 05 to put on road
i read on this forum that the folding mirrors can be made fold auto when you lock the car but only with the dealer i.e. not adjustable on the on board computer
is there anything elase that i should have the dealer setup or where can i get a list of dealer adjustable options (not in owners manual)

Welcome aboard, the-man-himself !

Beautiful place you live there!
I liked the west very much.
I've been visiting Clare, Burren Galway, Connemara, Kildare, Offally, Wicklow, and of course Dublin. Very nice, I had a good time!

You can allways dress for the cold, but you can't dress for the heat...

Welcome! The only other dealer adjustable options that come to mind are whether the daytime running lights are on or not and the sensitivity of the auto headlight sensor. You can certainly have your salesperson walk you through other options you set such as the steering wheel and seats, your entertainment options (AM/FM presets) and things like unlocking all doors with the first press of the unlock button, or just the drivers door. Most of these are done through the iDrive. But frankly, you'll probably know more than the salesperson from reading this forum. Again, welcome.
