Hi guys

so I had the stereo done in California they hacked the crap out of her, hasn't been right since.
on the ride to back to MA,

I had/have an issue with the HPFP, I replaced it then, got Fuel pump on the screen after on the way home.

the shop I brought her to, asked the wire hack job be cleaned up, no prob I thought, as I do wires..... so I did forget to disco the battery... but I soldered all the wires the stereo guy cut back together one for one... reassembled and tried to pull out of the garage... stereo worked

ALL Lights on the car work the gear shift lights and function does not...
i bought a used one from the junkyard no change.. metered the harness ...has power...??
ripped apart the dash tracing the shifter wires (i didn't unwrap the black wrap) I traced all the way back under the dash where the modules go?

I noticed that the sport button mod I did was back there but that button works??

I'm stumped! any ideas on what to test or do next, also what repair manual PDF?

******it was fuse 80 there are 2 different fuse location guides i chose poorly
