this happened to me last month and I was only out of town for 6 days... car battery was completely dead, no accessories, lights or clicking over... I tried jumping from under the hood with no luck... I called BMW roadside assistance for the first time ever.. the guy came over with a portable battery jumper connected it under the hood and got lights to come on but no clicking over.. the guy said he would try jumping straight from the actual battery in the trunk connected with jumper cables to his truck.. and this did the trick!! not sure if jumping direct from the battery is advisable, but sure worked for me..no problems since...

yes but AAA's battery jumper is a lot stronger than what we have in our puny cars.

Yeah....After your reply I realised that I really didnt drove much before I went out of town.

It is really not expected from a car like this...never had this problem in these many years.....

I am calling AAA, but then all they are going to do is Jump the car then I have tried that already....Only thing I can think now is the corrosion on terminals

I will check out when I go home
