thx roadie, appreciate it. I voted for yes, i do wanna debadge it to give it a slicker look.smooth. do u have it debadged?
The 528i I had back in the day was debadged from the factory.
I personally don't think you should debadge.
The number plate and the model badge complement each other nicely.

De-badge in my opinion.. not because it is a 520i but just cause it looks better without the badge

If BMW brought out a 518i, would you and/or others think better about your 520i badge?
I've always ordered my cars debadged for the same reason I don't let the dealer put their dealership stickers on my car, namely I think it looks better without -- nice and clean

I agree... I think it looks really clean... Everyone wants to know whats under the hood regardless if you show it or not.

+1, I say debadge cuz I think it looks clean. It's your car and if you want to debadge it or rebadge it as a Ferrari that's your choice

Out of curiousity is the 520 a 4cyl or small inline 6?
All e60 engines are I6, V8 and V10. None with I4 and V6

Correct for the pre-LCI petrol engines.
In Europe, you only had the 520d 4cyl on the pre-LCI E60s.
Since the LCI introduction, in Europe you have the 520i 4cyl and 520d 4cyl. The 525d and 523i models are now the starting 6cyl models.

I like the badges. But if you do de-badge, don't re-badge with something else that it's not, say with an "M" or 545/550, IMHO.
