Correct for the pre-LCI petrol engines.

In Europe, you only had the 520d 4cyl on the pre-LCI E60s.
Since the LCI introduction, in Europe you have the 520i 4cyl and 520d 4cyl. The 525d and 523i models are now the starting 6cyl models.
Ah! I didn't know it. thanks! but http://www.e60.net/information/optio...s/my2004_520i/ 520i is pre-LCI and says it is I6... only 520d (diesel) is I4. right?

Correct for the pre-LCIs, the only I4 was the 520d.

debadge it already if you want to.. ur telling us that it says it already in the plate in arabic.. so that means everyone can read it.. so next time they ask you what kind of 5 series.. tell them to re-read the plate.. duh.. to each his own.. i dont like it personally..makes me suspicious of what your driving when i dont see it.. ya know? idk.. do what you want.. but then tell them if they can read..then they shouldnt be asking that question..

De-badge in my opinion.. not because it is a 520i but just cause it looks better without the badge

funny how differently people see this -- you can swap out your grills, change your wheels, etc. to make your car look better, but with some people / countries all hell breaks loose if you remove the badge to make it look better! I'm not saying either is right or wrong, just interesting to see the reactions being posted here. (BTW, in case you missed it, I'm for de-badging to make the car look good and see it as any other optical enhancement)
