Not that i'm aware.
Ofcourse, there have been a few additions to options you could get (like nightvision, etc...), but the standard CCC (NavPro) is basicly the same.

With reasonable reason (at least here in the US) the dealer will do software upgrade such as warranty related like SIB and stuff otherwise you probably have to pay but still will not guarantee they will.

I think some parts may has been evolved but functionality has been from software upgrade.

so can any one with a e60 goto the dealer and get the latest idrive software for all these cool toys

is the idrive the same piece of hardware since 04 and just been software updates, or has the actual idrive hardware been evolving as well?

Check w/ your dealer, again 'reasonable' is the key so when the dealer ask you why you want full software upgrade (no such thing as simply iDrive software) and your answer is '...just because...' or '...so I can get all the new things..' then more than likely they'll say no.

I've got several full software upgrade since I got my car, again not sure if the term warranty are the same between us, I've had audio cut-out problem and the dealer couldn't find the cause (even after several PUMA cases) at the end they did full software upgrade and fix the problem, then another time I got transmission/drive train error that resulted the car in limp mode after they clear all the faults they decided to do another software upgrade and last one was when I did audio retrofit for SAT radio & Dension GW500.

I'm still under the original 4 years full warranty including things like oil change, brake rotors & pads etc.

M-ASK?

My 2007 550i has the option.

Do most use or not use DRLs?
