Hi Peeps,
As with some of you out there I had to bring my car in to the dealership for the BMW voluntary smog recall. They did whatever they had to (I understand that it required software programming -- Heck, what doesn't?!?) to make things right; however, they also TURNED OFF my DRL!
This of course means another trip to BMW to get them turned back on....Or do I?
Anyone out there know if it is possible to do this ourselves. I_believe_that_DRLs_are_mandatory in Canada which was one *excuse* I heard for why we can't play around with this feature. I'm in California so I know that DRLs are not mandatory.
TIA for any help on this matter.
Cheers,
-CoolTones.
P.S.: We're having our 3rd Bay Area Meet & Greet on August 12th. For more details check out the Meet & Greet Forum!

Yes, you're going to have to go back to the dealer to turn your DRLs back on. No option in iDrive to turn on/off in US.
