I just bought an '06 550 and am wondering if there is a malfunction with my DRL. When the headlamp controls are set to auto, my interior lights/gauges,etc. all stay on throughout the day. This seems incorrect to me. Is this proper functionality or a malfunction.

Also, my seat memory doesn't seem to be functioning properly. I am trying to set button #1. I press "M" which lights that button. Then I press 1 and it just starts moving to the previously set #1 position instead of setting the new position. Anyone else run into this?

i believe you have to hold the M button to clear memory and then reset....read manual for further details.

i believe your internals will always be on if set to auto.

shouldn't the interior lights turn off automatically for certain amount to time after car's been turned off?

None of my lights, ie gauges or lightings, stay on when in auto mode during the day when the ambient lighting is bright enough. Is there a difference between 08 vs 06 model?

Maybe u can bring down to dealers to clarify w them or to have them checked out?
