When you ask a question...you need to put the car model and year...that makes a big difference in the options in terms of programming, standard features, iDrive, etc.

i have an 04 545i myself (i have the bi-xenon headlights)...definitely want to know the answer to this question as well...specifically if i can have the angel eyes operate as DTRL...

Program DRL, yes. However, it will not be your angel eyes. If you guys have been following the other threads, you'll know that unless you have LM2, it is not possible to program the angel eyes as DRL. Additionally, the dealer cannot do it because they don't have the right tools.

two questions:
1. what is a LM2?
2. is there a way to get this done, maybe at the dealer with specific instructions from a fellow forum member or at a local shop? im out here in the metro Detroit area...far from many members...its kinda sparse out here as far as BMW enthusiasts go lol!
