damn side mirror

Hi members!

I HATE that stupid mirror that goes down when I put in R. And I cannot find anymore the setting to deactivate it.

Progman V31, do you know where is it?

Its under the side mirror adjuster on the drivers door.

all you need to do is switch the mirror adjustment from left to right and it won't tilt any more

I found that out by accident when I was wiping the interior of the car, for a second there, I thought my window-tilt function was broken, lol.

Yeah, it took me having to adjust the driver side mirror to find that out. Why don't they let us adjust the amount it goes down when in reverse? I think that would help tons.

What would help even more would be a CENTER position for the switch - that way you can't fat finger your mirrors out of adjustment by just brushing the arm rest.

It's weird... on the 3 series, I found this to be really useful, but on the 5, it's more of an annoyance to me.

if u have memory seats...you can set the #2 position to your desired mirror height.....
