My Ride: 09 550i 6sp M-Tech. 18mm spacers rear, 8mm front. Dinan intake and Stage 2 tune. Tinted tails, M5 OEM lip spoiler. 08 Z4 3.0si Black on Black with Beige top. Removable hardtop. (Hers) 06 Volvo S60R Heavily Modded!! Gone and missed.
Default Damm!! Look what i did.

Merging onto a feeder on 59 and car cuts off truck in front of me. Chain reaction. Hit up pretty high, no fluid loss, but the crease in the LS fender worries me. Took it to Momentum BMW on SW Freeway in Houston. I'm thinking at least 3 weeks. Looks like the CF splitter came out un damaged. Overall bad day.

Sorry to hear bro, hopefully you are okay and no one was hurt. Looks almost exactly what I did to my old 530 last November: https://5series.net/forums/e60-parts...d-ones-127885/

Mine needed new bumper, hood, grilles, headlights, and all the upper radiator supports. Total about $8000 in damage. The good news? I got a CF hood, different bumper, and an LCI upgrade from it. The bad? My particular car was never the same, which is why I have a 550 myself now.

Nobody hurt at all. Speed at impact was probably 5miles an hour. I'm worried about car the not being the same ... Upper radiator spport looked tweaked and there connectedto fender support. I was thinking at least 8K if both fenders have to be replaced. Hard enough hit that the foam bumper absorber was broken in half. Dont know if it actually pushed the bumper reinforcement back.

LOL, mine was $8k without any damage to the bumper support or the fenders. In my case I hit a Tahoe so the bumper and trailer hitch went right over the bumper support and into the grilles.

Right!! Nobody hurt, except my pride.

But, that's the big question, right. What to add taking advantage of the fact I'll be getting new hood, bumper, headlights and fenders. I dont think I'm going the carbon fiber hood route and I've already got LCI. My Hamman splitter survived so I'll fix some scrapes and reinstall. I've got rpi scoops with the Dinan intake and all that appears unscathed. M5 mirrors already installed, but wouldnt be a M poser and put M5 fenders,,, so......

Any other suggestions?

It always sucks to be in an accident, expecially in a car you're passionate about (why buy one you're NOT passionater about? . But the car did it's job, and everyone was ok.

I hope you can repair it, any word on frame damage? at 5mph, I wouldn't expect it, but it looks like you went UNDER something, with the front of the hood crunched like that...

I'd get the m5 fenders and change the emblem to something unique. Some other members have done this. Not posing really. Just run some ideas. I've always liked the hartge splitter for the original m5 bumper
