I just installed OEM m5 rear bumper on my 08 550i and I purchase all the custom exhaust component but the muffler shop said my tips are too big to fit into the battery space. I told him I seen people customized it by cut a L shape piece from the tips to fit but he said that's too much work I'm better off getting new tips.

My question is how easy it is customized the tips to fix? or If I should get new tips that fit where can I get it from? I love the tips I got now their 3.5 outlet, rolled straight cut so hopefully I can get them to work.
