Hi all,

I've recently imported my 2004 525i from the UK to France. I'm going about doing a few jobs to make it more Euro friendly but one thing that's bugging me is the cruise control speed units. They are in mph but I'd like to change them to kph (to save me having to mentally divide by 1.6 everytime I want to use it).

I'd hoped it was something simple like some pin programming or a software update but my dealer said it's simply not possible. This surprises me. Any one have any ideas?

Thanks,

P.S. I can usually manage because I have a dual speedo so the conversion isn't too difficult but it'd be nice to have it reading out kph...

did u try changing them by using the setting in the iDrive? as in, one click in the main menu, then navigate to units, then turn it from Mile to KM, i've seen such option on my 2006 525d M Sport

Yeah sorry I should have said, I've tried the iDrive options. I can change the fuel consumption and sat nav units (miles to km) and pressure and temperature units but no option for the cruise control sadly.
