Hey all looking for some help here. Just had new 4 new tyres fitted and now my cruise control does not work over 60mph.

My tyres would seem to be different size than the origonals. Front 255/40/19 and rear 295/30/19. I'm told origonal sizes should be 285/35/19 on rear. But I have replaced EXACTLY same sizes. Just triple checked now before posting this. I was on contis before but switched to PS2s after everyone here has said they were better. I guess the previous owner switched sizes, but I replaced exactly as the size before and cruise control worked fine untill these new ones went one!

So to clarify, the tyres are same size as the ones removed and the speed limiter IS off. I have reset the tyre pressure monitor and reset the SMG

Can anyone help?! Recomennd what has changed what I can do to remedy.

Thanks in advance!

So what happens at 60mph? Does it just shut off without any messages, etc? Is DSC fully on?

Does the "speed" alert prevent the CC from working if you try to set it when over your setting? I have mine set to off, but seems to me I remember a loaner that the speed alert setting caused me some CC issue. Too old to remember.

I can't say I remember the speed alert ever getting in the way of the cruise control but then again, I usually don't set the cruise higher than the alert.
