Default Creaking Windows

Noticed a few mentions on this and thought I would post my recent experience.

Windows lowered very slightly and the creaking goes away.

Some days worse than others which I'm putting down to temperature

Polished the painted inner door areas where the rubber seal on the doors rest when the doors are shut. Creaking gone.

I don't know how long for but it's creak free for now

My passenger front window just started creaking when all the way up, it goes away when you slightly lower the window.
What exactly did you do?

BMW put out a TSB for this a while ago, and the 'fix' is attaching transparent tape to the insides of the door jambs. The part numbers are in REALOEM.com if anyone is curious.

I do the same thing you do. A good waxing of the door jambs keeps me creak free for 2 to 3 months at a time. When I start to hear it coming back, I know it's time to do it again.
