Hi Guys

I had this problem fixed, not sure if it's applicable to everyone. But here is the description from the BMW service centre work sheet:

LABOUR
Eliminate body noise.
Remove & refit rear speaker
panel, reat seats, trunk lid
panels for lunriocate & adjust.
Lubricate both front seal belt
rh/f door lock button.

PARTS
Bolt
Clip
Clip

<End>

Now the noise is gone for good.

I did not have any such noises with my old standard suspension E60 on 17" wheels but now have exactly same creaks as Streak on M sport suspension. The creaking really does sound as though it is coming from boot ( trunk in USA ). I have seen at least one mag review referring to a 535d M Sport with same creaks.

I also have a problem with my car creaking badly, I can't seem to pin point where the creaking is. seems its coming from every door/seat. I'll bring up bunbun's suggestion to the dealer, hopefully this can be fixed..all this creaking makes me feel like im drying a honda accord at times :\
