Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on my experience with Dunlop RFTs (cant remember exact model) on my 2006 525i sports.

My RFTs had about 18,000 km on them when I noticed a 2 inch crack in between one of the thread groove. It was leaking air but was just not comfortable with it so went down to the tyre shop and changed all 4 tyres.

Upon closer inspection after the RFTs were removed, I found multiple cracks of various length (nothing longer than 2 inches) between the grooves of various tyres! There were also small chunks of tyres which had fallen out from my RFTs!

Dont know the cause. I dont trash my car or drive them through rubble. Maybe its the tropical weather here in Malaysia or something. Whatever it is, I was really glad that I decided to change the tyres. Might be worth inspecting your tyres.
