Good looking car . Looks like you finally found the "one" I remember you almost bought one in miami that was silver grey but it had an accident or some sort of issue? If you don't mind me asking...how much did you pick it up for?

The other car in Miami was at a very shaddy place " Direct Off Lease " and i will be more then happy to give feed back to any one that wants it.
This particular car is what i really wanted. Single owner, dealer maintained,no story car and to top it off,it has all the available options in a 5 series besides Distronic/Active steering.
It wasn't cheap but i was very frustrated for not being able to find a car with my specs here on the east coast that didn't have some sort of accident/story. I am very pleased with the car.
PM sent.

+1 CPO checklist is BS. My first car E46 1999 323i CPO was BS...found out it had been repainted after paint was chipping in certain spots, the gear shifting bushings need replacing, ALL power windows went out on me too. All in 2 months. Car had 63K miles on it...but then again I bought it in 2002 and stole it for $11800 cash.

Take it back to them and tell them you almost died 3x due to the sloppy brakes and this is definitely not acceptable...they'll take care of it I'm almost 100% sure.

In the future, you do it yourself it will take you VERY minimal effort and very little time to swap out rotors and pads. In fact you do NOT even need to remove the entire caliper system. The rotor will slide right out of it from an angle. The easiest brake job i've ever done.

Very classy car! 19000 mi? what year is that? Very clean looking pre-LCI

Thats why I decided to same my money and not purchase from the BMW dealer. In my opinion CPO programs are not always what they seem. Dealers make empty promises and buyers are not careful in reviewing all documents during purchase. Brakes (rotors and pads) are wear items and will most likely not be replaced by your dealer under the CPO program.

A friend made me see the service history from the menu and it said Front brake pads OK for 7000 miles and the rear pads OK for 10,000 miles.
So my question is,does that sound OK to you all ? How long does the pads lasts on a car that was just CPO'd ? I am planning on addressing this with the selling dealer tomorrow to see what he says ?
Btw can some one tell me about the cost of a brake job (pads/rotors) on a 530i at the dealer vs indy ? Recommendations for good parts store where to order them ?
Thanks
So did the dealer find anything wrong?
