A "1" is missing in front of the 9. KBB retail is ~$18k.

Mine is a 2004, but the funny thing is that after about $25,000 in exterior mods it sure as hell doesn't look or sound like a 2004 530 anymore. I had some CL63 owner the other day say "wow, your car looks amazing, that a new one right?" I was like "yep". hahahah

Just to add I bet if I had to trade my car in I'd get no more than 12k or something for it at this point. Its great!

Don't trade it in, unless you want to take it in a$$. I'd part out before selling it privately.

1) Pic is of a silver car - Carfax says black
2) Accident reported in Carfax
3) Metro NYC area registry = severe duty and nearly 100K miles
4) 2nd Owner averaging over 25K miles/year

I don't think the price for a two-owner 6+ year old e60 with an accident report and 90K + miles is out of line. I suspect the overall car might be a bit "rough".

BTW, the accident only has to < $500 to hit carfax so that is no indication of extensive damage. And it was rear-end damage - IMHO, that is not nearly as much a negative than if it were a front end-er! BTW, the service records seem to indicate it was serviced as regularly as BMW requires. Might be an inexpensive way for someone to get into an e60. If anyone did, I'd recommend a basic after-market warranty covering engine and drivetrain (maybe essential electronics).
