Nice pics!

Hollywood, where did you get that Hamann-styled splitter? from Pnmeke?
Wheelpower. It is the original Hamann splitter. Was bragging to me about it all Saturday night. Couldn't get him to shut up about it.

You can adjust the pitch factor. I remember discussing this with Znod a while back since my car has coilovers.

How was it modified? The M5 front is different from the M Tech front so the splitter will not be a direct fit.

ECF, that is an original Hamann splitter for the M-tech kit.

It's the first one in North America, I was going to post new pics of it in a few days after I get my M5 mirrors re-installed today

I'll keep you updated. If you need info about the splitter PM me, I can work something out for you. I think since we have the same car pretty much, you should just throw it on there. haha

cheers

What about me? What about me?
NO ERIC.

You were just lucky to have a good first run. That will be your best run. Every time from now will be a slower time. hahahaha

Haha... Somebody's getting a hookup with a Hamann splitter for the M-Tech kit. Good stuff.

haha...

Hollywood, PM me with the price if you can. I was leaning towards the Hartge style splitter but I could be pursuaded to change my mind. Another forum member here, Freed0m bought the custom made one from pnemeke and his car is pretty much exactly like mine except he has silver R10s.

Aright sounds good.

Hey quick question. If I throw it in auto mode, will it shift right before redline? I was thinking, what if I started off without AA, but somewhere around 4-5K I dump the throttle all the way down to the switch, you think that will activate the auto-shift?

I guess I can just give it a try.
I think I understand what you are saying. You want to ease into the throttle from the start and when it approaches 4-5K you'll stomp down on the throttle to activate the kickdown switch. Give it a shot and let us know the outcome.

Oh the IS suspension is soft. I'm sure it has more pitch under acceleration. You think that affected the run times? Is there a way to calibrate it? or is the "2" a built in factor?

Grogan any ideas? Znod? Where is Znod? Vacation?
Yes the pitch can be adjusted.I don,t have the instruction manual handy, but there are many adjustments that can be made to optimize accuracy.I believe the pitch only has a minimal affect on accuracy.Only hundreths of a second, not even .1 second. You just have to scoll thru the menu until you find pitch,it will give you the present setting. You can then change it.
