Wow, the little Lexus really did the job big time. And, way to go Eric. What where your elevation and temperature readings? All being on the same track at the "same time" makes it clear the Lexus is very fast. I am sure that some of you are a bit disappoined given the magazines' published times for the 550i and the Step times for the g-man and I. One thing, your cars definitely will get faster.

HEY welcome back Znod!!!

Elevation I'm not sure. Maybe we can find out. I'll see if I can find out. Temperature was about 80-82 degress according to the guage in the car. Humidity was about average... maybe a little more than normal... just a tad. We've been really humid around here theses few weeks.

Guys relax,
There is always someone faster. The IS350 is in a different category compared to pur cars. Try the GS430 or GS460 do 5 secs flat. it CAN"T. We are all room , luxury and ride. Its the perfect combination. The IS350 is light and will move BUT add some of the junk (in addition of the already extra pounds we have ) and they will be running 6s. So different car, different class.
A subaru WRX STI modded slightly can take a 550 or a lexus, a Z4 3.0 can give you a run for you money even a truck can wipe you (Jeep SRT8 or cayenne turbo)..so different class.... what do you thing the LS430 and GS430 owners are saying about that little IS being faster compared to them?
JAJA..practice your launching techniques
It just seems that there are a lot of IS350 wanting to challenge our cars. They know they can pretty much smoke the e90 330, so what's next? The 550/545. As for the GS, well the hybrid 460h will do 5 flat, I think.

I'm going to be happy when the 335 gets here, then all the IS350s will go and want to challenge the 335s.

Well, you have to consider that EBMCS03 was the only one that DIDN'T stomp on the throttle. That is why he got the best time. Everyone else was stomping away. I've learned a few tricks from grogan545 and the runs have become addictive. I can't wait until my next runs.

Ya the GS Hybrid will be a challenger. and as for the 335... you're right. when that comes out I bet there will be a lot of those IS kids wanting to go pound on some 335s. I courious how the IS 350 will fair with the 335.

Try to get me your altitude, altimeter setting (i.e., colloquially your barometric pressure), temperature in F, and Dew Point in F or relative humidity. I will convert your 1/4 mile results to standard. You best source of the needed data usually is the weather info homepage for a nearby (your pass) airport. Even small airports often have very good weather data. It may be too late to back up to same-time-same-place yesterday, but come as close as you can. Also, if today seems much like yesterday, I would try using the weather data from today same time as yesterday.

At that exact spot, I wanna say approximately 10 - 15 ft.

Guys, I tried a run last night without AA. I had one passenger 95 lbs, full tank of gas, and I pulled an iceman.

5.9 I didnt complete the 1/4 mile just 0-60.

I'll try another today with AA.
