I'm going to do another run tonight Jiio, I'll keep you posted with the results
Easy on the AA. Don't use it this time around. Did you read what Grogan545 said? This is what I would suggest you do.

1. Deactivate DTC/DSC
2. Sport button
3. Calibrate the G-Meter
4. Steady and delibrate motion on the throttle.
5. Shift manually near redline.

Does that sound right Grogan545?

Wow, you actually missed the Dinan thread? I should've PMed you. http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=28871.
Thanks. Must have been napping. I replied to that thread.

Overall, I do believe that there aren't big gains from today's software programming. I just want my drivability impoved.

Right on Jiio.I have a step but I still think the "no wheelspin" idea will work best for the manual or smgs. When you get it just right the acceleration in first gear is amazing.

Aright sounds good.

Hey quick question. If I throw it in auto mode, will it shift right before redline? I was thinking, what if I started off without AA, but somewhere around 4-5K I dump the throttle all the way down to the switch, you think that will activate the auto-shift?

I guess I can just give it a try.

I bet you will see 5.0, 5.1, 5.2s consistently by the 545is and 550s. I won't be surprised if hollywood gets sub-5.

What about you? We don't care about the IS350.

But, again mad props to Lexus.

One thing to pay attention to when using a G-Tech meter is the pitch factor. This takes into account the amount of squat during acceleration. I think the factory setting is 2.0, which may be about right for our 545/550s with sport suspensions. However, the Lexus may not have as stiff a suspension as an E60 sport, and hence, may squat more during the runs. If this is the case the Lexus will show faster times on the G meter than it actually ran.

Guys like Znod, grogan545, and Wolverine know a lot more about this, so they can chime in and set the record straight if need be.
Oh the IS suspension is soft. I'm sure it has more pitch under acceleration. You think that affected the run times? Is there a way to calibrate it? or is the "2" a built in factor?

Grogan any ideas? Znod? Where is Znod? Vacation?
