She's apparently interested in someone in the Bay Area. She and my g/f will be attending a wedding in SF on Labor Day weekend. She's going as the date of the brother of the bride. I will be in Vegas.

Had an issue with my car on the way to work yesterday. Got a "Steering Tilt" warning. The check control warning said "Possible steering fluid problem" or "Possible suspension hydraulic problem" "Stop Car Carefully" "Do Not Drive" "Contact Your BMW Service Center". I immediately headed over to the nearest dealer, Shelly BMW. They had to do complete program update plus update some "unspecified" modules. They kept the car overnight and I'm sitting here waiting to get the complete results.

Did you get the same message as in the picture below? I got that message a couple of times in the beginning of the year and a few months later it started happening more and more. I took it to the dealer and they said it was a faulty fluid level sensor. They replaced it and it has been fine since.

Yes. That's the exact message I got. I picked my car up, appears steering oil was low. They topped off oil level and did visual inspection of entire ARS system for leaks, non-found, however to clear the two stored faults, 5D60 oil level sensor and 613E Lock mech fault in accordance with SI B32 07 05 they did a complete vehicle programming (Chip 22.01) and encoding plus steering angle sensor calibration which cleared both faults. So far so good.

I like to believe this part.

What I did was Left foot on brake, right on gas and as I eased off the brake I applied gas fairly quickly... Traction contol off. And as you said... very minimal tire squeel. I heard a tiny chirp and that was about it. I'm sure if the car was in your hands or Znods the times can be lower.

i always drive with both feet, gets better starts and stops, it all comes down to driver, im sure i could take these as well as an M3 in my step unless its a very good driver who gets the jump on me...

now if Cobradav was drivin, imagine what he could have run in that little rocket ....

...did they pull all the wheels off the car?? funny, i had this same prob on my 6er fixed this week, just got her back last nite....it took them 3 tries to find it, visual inspections didnt work at first, they just topped off the oil and it would take about a month before it would leak out enough to set off the sensor...my was a valve block, which is a pressure sensor, if you get the error again, have them check this

Great times. Do you know the weather/altitude conditions for this pass? What was your rollout? And, what pitch setting did you use? Finally, were all your passes the same direction?
