CWP works for So. Cal. In fact my wife loves it for the heated seats, she uses them for her back issues. She has a fused disc in her low back from a fall. I've never tried out the heated steering wheel.

On another note I bought a g-meter off of Amazon. "Escort Passport GT2 Vehicle Performance Computer with Advanced Feature Set". Is that the one jiio has? Going to find a place to get in some practice runs before the 26th. Will read manual and adjust pitch as noted earlier in this thread.

Had an issue with my car on the way to work yesterday. Got a "Steering Tilt" warning. The check control warning said "Possible steering fluid problem" or "Possible suspension hydraulic problem" "Stop Car Carefully" "Do Not Drive" "Contact Your BMW Service Center". I immediately headed over to the nearest dealer, Shelly BMW. They had to do complete program update plus update some "unspecified" modules. They kept the car overnight and I'm sitting here waiting to get the complete results.

It is what jiio has except that I don't recall the "Advanced Feature Set" terminology in connection with the GT2. Happy testing.

COOL! You got a G-Meter too!

Hopefully they'll get your car squared away.

So how long is it going to take? You're using their wireless internet or do they provide you with computers?

I'm still wondering why my $20K Jetta comes standard with heated seats (driver and front passenger) when my 545 doesn't.

Regarding your other note, that's the G Meter I have as well. I will confess that I did a few runs at the last Bay Area Meet on Sat and I SUCKED!!!! I'm positive it's driver error so off to practice I go.

And NO, I'm not going to tell you the times I got and everyone that was there was sworn to secrecy.

I'm working from home this morning. Still waiting to hear from Shelly. I'm getting nervous, I read some of the posts about the SZL module that seems to be a model year 2006 issue. I have an 04 so I'm trying to stay optimistic regarding getting my baby back in a timely manner and problem free. Will update what they say the problem was or is.

I distinctly remember my530i telling you to leave the baby seat at home. See, that's why your time sucked in addition to operator error.

I was going to leave it at home IF you were bringing your girlfriend's girl friend. I was too disappointed with the lack of companionship that I couldn't drive right. haha
